We partner with both Universities and Private Higher Education Providers. This enables us to offer students a range of programs with varying costs. It is often more expensive to study a Bachelor Degree program in a University, as opposed to studying with a Private Higher Education Provider.
We are currently affiliated with a number of institutions which provide Accounting, IT, Engineering and Nursing courses.
We have found that graduates from these programs have greater employment opportunities.
We assist you in determining the right program based on your interests, desired location in Australia and the amount of money you are willing to spend on your education.
We will assist you with the enrolment process in order to obtain a Confirmation of Enrolment from an institution. Following this, we will assist you with applying for your Australian Student Visa.
Once you hold your Student Visa, you are welcome to enter Australia.
You must have graduated high school. You must also have undertaken an approved English language test:
Approved English Language Tests include the following only:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic or General Training)
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)
Occupational English Test (OET)
Cambridge C1 Advanced test
Generally, the following represents the minimum required English language test scores:
Identity Documents
You will need to provide a clear colour copy of your valid Passport. You should also supply a copy of your Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence and National Identity card where available. You must also supply a Certificate of Good Standing.
Genuine Temporary Student
You must demonstrate that you are a genuine student. The school and the Department of Home Affairs in Australia will consider your personal circumstances, your immigration history (if any) and any other relevant matters. You will need to provide your Resume or Curriculum Vitae for the last 5 years and your transcript from school.
Health Insurance
In order to be granted your Australian Student Visa, you will need to hold an acceptable Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Policy for the period of your study. We can assist with this if you wish.
Evidence of Sufficient Funds
The cost of living in Australia is quite high. As such, the Department of Home Affairs in Australia requires you to provide evidence that you have enough funds for your stay. This can be demonstrated in one of two ways. Please see below summary:
Once you have received your Confirmation of Enrolment from the school of your choice, we will assist with the lodgement of your Student Visa. Once your Student Visa application is lodged, it typically takes between 19 days and 66 days to be processed by the Department of Home Affairs in Australia.
This depends on whether you choose to enrol in a University or a Private Higher Education provider. Both offer Bachelor Degree courses.
The typical cost of a Bachelor Degree with a University is $90,000 - $120,000 AUD.
The typical cost of a Bachelor Degree with a Private Higher Education provider is approximately $50,000 - $60,000 AUD.
iSkill Australia fees
We assist you with the process of selecting a course, an appropriate school, obtaining your Confirmation of Enrolment and applying for your Student Visa.
We charge $4,800 AUD + Goods and Services Tax of 10% (GST) and charge this in 3 instalments.
1. Once you decide to proceed with your application, we will charge you $1000 AUD + GST. We will then send you a detailed document checklist for your collection of documents.
- Once you have gathered all of your documents and you are ready to apply for a Confirmation of Enrolment through an institution, we will charge you $1900 AUD + GST.
- Once you have received your Confirmation of Enrolment and you are ready to apply for your Student Visa, we will charge the remaining $1900 AUD + GST.
The iSkill Australia fees are non-refundable. We do not guarantee the success of your Student Visa application. This is at the discretion of the Department of Home Affairs.
Medical examination
The costs of a medical examination are subject to change. At the time of writing, the cost of a Medical examination is 25,000 KES.
Biometrics collection
The costs of a medical examination vary. At the time of writing, the cost of Biometrics Collection is 3,600 KES.
Health insurance
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) must be paid upfront for the duration of your Confirmation of Enrolment (ie. Course duration). We have a partnership with Bupa and can assist you to obtain health cover appropriate for a Student Visa. At the time of writing, a single’s basic policy is approximately $58 per month. This is refundable if your Student Visa is refused.
Student Visa application fee
At present, the Department of Home Affairs’ Student Visa application fee is $710 AUD plus credit card surcharge.
Translating documents into English
All documents not in English will need to be supplied along with an English translation. We ask that you use a NAATI accredited translator: https://www.naati.com.au/online-directory/
Confirmation of Enrolment fees
There will be an initial charge to obtain your Confirmation of Enrolment from the school. Following this, you will be required to pay your Student Fees in instalments as per the institute’s schedule of payments. A Confirmation of Enrolment at a private higher education institute is typically around $9000 and covers your first semester of tuition. This is refundable (except for a small administration fee) if your Student Visa is refused.

This will entirely depend on your course of study, the school at which you study and the quality of your results. There are a number of courses which offer internship opportunities.
Yes, prior to your Student Visa being granted, you will need to undertake a Medical Examination through one of the Department of Home Affairs’ panel physicians in Kenya. You must not undertake this until requested by the Department of Home Affairs.
You will be required to undertake:
- A chest X-ray
- General Medical examination
- HIV test
- Serum Creatinine and Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR)
These are standard as part of every Medical Examination requested by the Department of Home
Affairs.
Yes. You will be required to attend your local VFS Global office to have your photograph taken and your fingerprints taken. You will specifically receive a request from the Department of Home Affairs to undertake Biometrics, so you must only book this appointment once you have received the Department’s formal request and you have a unique identifier to make the booking. This can be undertaken in Nairobi.
